Buy Beef
Among the most natural grass-fed beef on the planet — first release 2027.
Okmok beef is not in stores, and it never will be a commodity. It comes from a single island, a single herd, in limited runs — sold directly to the people who reserve it. The first release follows the spring 2027 roundup, and the pre-sale is how you claim a place in it.
Why Buy Beef a Year in Advance?
The answer is simple: buying directly from the farm is changing the way people buy food. As logistics and distribution become easier and more affordable, more consumers are choosing to know where their beef comes from — and to buy directly from the people raising it.
Beef markets are also increasingly volatile. Shrinking cattle herds and tighter supply are causing beef prices to skyrocket. Buying in advance locks your supply at current wholesale market prices, direct to consumer, regardless of where the market goes in 2027 — which is expected to be incredibly bullish.
You don't need to pay your entire order upfront: every Okmok beef package offers affordable monthly payments through Affirm at checkout.

The Source
Every animal comes from the Umnak herd — cattle shaped by more than a century of natural selection, raised their entire lives on year-round green grass in the Cradle of Storms. No feedlots, no grain, no confinement. Ever.
Nothing Added
Zero antibiotics, zero added hormones, zero vaccines. Not as a marketing choice — the island's isolation from mainland diseases means they were never needed. The herd carries organic, grass-fed certification.
Processed on the Island
The beef is processed at our USDA-certified boutique facility at Fort Glenn, steps from the grassland where the cattle lived. Minimal transport, minimal stress, complete control of quality from pasture to pack.

How It Works
Reserve Your Beef
The Beef Pre Sale opens ahead of the first product run following the spring 2027 roundup. Early reservations secure priority allocation from a limited first release.
The First Harvest
Males selected from the roundup enter processing at Fort Glenn. The first run is deliberately small and highly controlled — quality proven before scale.
From Umnak to Your Door
Boxes ship frozen through a cold chain built from the Aleutians to the mainland. Cut selections, box sizes, and delivery windows will be published with the pre-sale.
